Tesbih Habbal is a seasoned communications strategist whose diverse experiences span policy, advocacy, education, and community engagement. With a career rooted in crafting impactful narratives, Tesbih has dedicated over a decade to creating transformative strategies that inspire action, foster connection, and drive meaningful social change.
Tesbih’s journey has taken her across industries, where she has built expertise in strategic content creation, digital marketing, and advocacy. She has worked on issues related to social justice, cultural preservation, and global policy, designing initiatives that amplify marginalized voices and address pressing challenges. Her leadership roles have included shaping digital engagement strategies at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and producing editorial content that highlighted human rights and resilience during her work on advocacy projects.
Her professional endeavors include designing multimedia campaigns, producing powerful video series, and contributing to platforms such as The New Humanitarian and The Nation, where she shed light on issues ranging from the Syrian conflict to social empowerment. Tesbih’s work is deeply informed by her belief in the transformative power of storytelling—a belief she has put
into action to build inclusive platforms and meaningful connections.
A graduate of the University of Chicago with a Master’s in International Relations, Tesbih brings analytical depth and creative insight to every project. Her academic foundation complements her practical expertise, enabling her to navigate complex global issues while fostering leadership and connection. Through her work with the Zat Initiative, Tesbih has combined her passions for advocacy and empowerment. Zat embodies her commitment to creating spaces where Arab women can lead, thrive, and build networks of support. Hind Allouch is a dedicated behavioral psychology specialist. With a strong academic foundation in psychology and behavioral analysis, Hind brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and passion for women's psychological well being.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Monmouth College, a Master’s in Psychology, and a Board Certification in Behavior Analysis, Hind has a deep understanding of human behavior, mental health, and therapeutic interventions. She has dedicated her career to working in clinical behavior therapy, where she specializes in supporting individuals through research-driven strategies and therapeutic techniques. Hind’s work extends beyond therapy to community-building efforts that focus on empowering women.
At Zat Initiative, Hind plays a role in creating the event program and content, designing impactful dialogue topics, thoughtful questions, and interactive programs that foster connection and provide meaningful support for members. Through these initiatives, she creates a welcoming and nurturing space where women can come together, share their experiences, and grow both personally and professionally.
Outside of her professional work, Hind enjoys reading, cooking, walking, and hosting discussion groups. She is a proud wife and mother, finding balance and joy in her family life while continuing to contribute to her community. Through her work at Zat Initiative, Hind continues to inspire, empower, and create spaces where women’s voices and well-being are valued and nurtured.

Ranim Al Bittar is a dedicated Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate focused on women's empowerment and community growth. As a co-founder of the ZAT Initiative, she drives positive change in Chicago's suburbs through charitable events and grassroots initiatives. Inspired by her early interest in community service, Ranim aims to promote holistic well-being and support local businesses. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and exploring local ventures, which inform her creative approach to community engagement. Committed to continuous learning, Ranim seeks to foster collaboration and support within her community.
